We have 10 performance slots available, which will be selected at random from all who apply.

An electric keyboard with a microphone, two additional microphones (with stands), music stands and an amp for other instruments will be provided. Please come ready to plug in and play.

The National Theatre of Scotland is particularly interested to hear from underrepresented communities, including people who are Black/from the African diaspora or people of the global majority; trans, non-binary and/or LGBTQIA+; disabled, deaf, neurodivergent, those who have chronic conditions, and all those who have been historically underrepresented and systemically excluded within the cultural sector and so we have reserved a small number of slots at the event specifically for these individuals. 
  

Please be assured that this information will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be utilised to ensure that the diversity of the musical theatre community is included in the open mic sharings.

Travel bursaries are available to support attendance for those based more than 25 miles away from Rockvilla.  

• £20 for those travelling 25 – 50 miles from Rockvilla.
• £40 for those travelling 50 miles or more from Rockvilla. 

These bursaries will be paid via the submission of an invoice after the event. If you request a travel bursary when registering, we’ll be in touch with further details.
